Helping create memories between humans and their canine companions since 19<\/em>64.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main goal of our training is to produce dogs that are obedient and conditioned to behave with good manners in the home, public areas, and in the presence of other dogs. The results will make them a wonderful companion to the family. We also provide an opportunity for people and their dogs to show, and earn titles, in AKC trials, including obedience, rally, agility, field trials, tracking and nose work.<\/p>\n

Why Obedience Training?<\/h2>\n

Answer:<\/strong> Because obedience training is a GOOD thing. Obedience training builds communication, understanding, and mutual respect while demonstrating to your dog that you are an effective “pack leader”.<\/p>\n

Dogs are pack animals with a well-defined and inherent social order. Every dog pack has a leader to whom the other dogs in the pack look to for guidance and leadership. When you bring a dog into your family, the family members become the dog’s new, not-so-furry pack and, as such, they must provide leadership to the new canine member.<\/p>\n

Enrolling in a dog obedience class offers several positive benefits to both the family and the dog. Obedience training is also the basis and fundamental foundation for all other activities you will want to do with your dog.\u00a0<\/p>\n
